You can't argue with firecorals, those corals are simply AMAZING!!! I have also been running at 78. No reason exactly, however I want to educate a bit more on the temp and effects it has!

Mines been running cold lately normally I’m up around 78 as that’s just the temperature the fish room stays at with all the equipment running. Here’s my last week temps though

I used to let the Apex do the seasonal temp variation until a few weeks ago because this time of year seasonal temp for the Apex is 76 and it was just too cold in my opinion so now I have it pegged for a 77

i honestly don't know, lol. no apex, no thermometer, no heaters lol. i'm lucky that mine's in my basement and (from my success I think) keeps pretty well regulated. Can't imagine what it would cost to heat a 700G system!

Same display you saw I think, but I added a 100G anemone tank and a 20G mantis tank on top of a 350G display, 150G sump and 90G frag tank all plumbed in line. I think that's about 700G give or take. Lots of water, but not a lot of room left lol.
