Learning from peoples mistakes is the best way to navigate this hobby, BUT!! remember what works for me may not work for you!
Take all the advise you can from as many reefers as possible and then determine for yourself what will work the best for you and your set up.
Many, many, opinions out there, not all are offering the correct information.
Ask the same question multiple times to multiple Reefers, do not feel you are ignoring advise from the first reefer offering, you are just confirming what you have been told. Also Read BOOKS and articles from reputable people (chemists, Marine biologists, scientists, etc,)
NOT facebook posts.....
Also forums like this one, lots of knowledgeable people who have been in the hobby for decades.
