Hi guys I haven't been around the site for awhile. Work related situation,
Anyway I want to post a DIY that happened tonight,
It took literally one hour
First of all I want to say thank you to all our Sponsors, what nice guys!
From the closest one to the further one.
For this DIY
The light strip was donated by Mr.Wilson,
it's a led lights by the length
24V, 1.5a by the meter

So beside the power supply that already had , I just had to buy a piece of 2mm thick aluminum flat bar
$11.99. For 6 feet
This thing it's powerful for a single strip it has various blues and a few UV's. Which they are needed in the photosynthesis

After I cut the aluminum to the proper length I gave a wash and I started to peel the light, the ligthstrip has a 3M glue very strong, just make sure the is straight, won't be easy to remove it if make mistakes

Now , I had to build a support for it, a piece of wood on each side and a support for the middle

Hi seeks,
Well I can tell you that All the spectrum is revolving from the 390 Uv, to the 440- 460
Blues, I see that there is Royal blue, I cannot get the same with Actinic T5,
Regards of PAR...I'm not sure,
I can tell you that even the corals at the bottom are glowing.
My tank is 27" tall and the light is at 8" above the water
