Hello! Help with Algae ID

Hello All!
I am extremely new to the hobby (literally one week in) and I am having my first algae bloom. I am worried I might have the dreaded dinos. It appears brown with veiny strings (but flat, not sticking up). There appear to be bubbles trapped in it but I don’t think it’s possible that the bubbles were ‘caught.’ One of my hermits is going to town on it but my other hermit and snails don’t care. I tried to get some photos; Ignore the purple epoxy.

Hi there!

If your tank is brand new, it is likely to be a diatom bloom. Usually happens to all new tanks shortly after your turn the lights on and is usually caused by the silicates in the sand.

Assuming its diatoms, they go away on their own once the silicates are used up/however you can also add a clean up crew to start eating it and speed up the process.
